Inconsistencies ≠ Growth

- Hashim Alsharif

When building a system with the goal of scaling, consistency is crucial. Picture a payment gateway processing a thousand transactions a day. If it suddenly scales to ten thousand, can it sustain the same performance? Certainly not. It requires engineering enhancements to manage the increased load.

Human Scale

The same principle applies to people. Scaling from an individual contributor to a Founder or Entrepreneur is like scaling your payment gateway tenfold. It requires personal growth and the resolution of inconsistencies. If you have ethical or moral issues, they must be addressed. Holding onto these inconsistencies creates a bottleneck that hinders growth, making effective scaling impossible.

Reality Check

I see these bottlenecks as crucial reality checks. They ground you, revealing what needs to be configured in your operating system as a human. It’s not about being wrong; it’s about building the internal configurations necessary for scaling. If you’re not addressing these, it signals a lack of interest in genuine growth.

Morals Come First

Remember, this blog isn’t about building payment gateways—it’s about ensuring you have the right foundation to scale as a person. Morals always come first; consistency is key.
